OPPORTUNITY
LOGI'S HARMONY REMOTE BUSINESS HAD BEEN PROMISING...
integrated control of entertainment and home devices for many years. However today's experience is hard to use, looks backward, and is not really truly connected from purchase to setup to day to day use. Despite ongoing innovation efforts to scale compatibility with more devices and the ability to deliver the Harmony control from smartphones, we haven't been successful as connectors of smart home experiences as per the Logi business philosophy.

how do we step change our smart home innovation and design experiences that really live up to the Smart Home promise?

WHAT WE LEARNT FROM TALKING TO CUSTOMERS IS THAT...
a home is a shared space, but smart phones provide inherently personal experiences and are not great smart home controllers. It can be cumbersome to repeatedly open one or multiple complex apps to turn on/off a smart light, skip to your favorite song or unlock door for a friend when you are in the middle of another chore. Its disruptive. Smart home set up and control must be as using light switch.

Pop and play
Use Pop to start music, movies and more. Program Pop with your favorite Sonos stations and playlists. Or combine Pop with Logi Harmony hub based remote to start a 'Movie night- Tv, cable box and stereo turn on and smart lights dim
Pop nearly anywhere
As each button is wireless and battery-powered, you can use POP just about anywhere. Mount one by the front door, keep one on your nightstand, or carry one from room to room. Use POP Add-On buttons to add simple smart home control wherever you like
OUT OF THE BOX EXPERIENCE
Our goal was to create a plug and play experience, so that the customer can start using POP immediately. The video details out the flow across all touch points involved in the process.
PRODUCT
The product is available as a starter kit with a bridge and 2 buttons. More buttons can be purchased individually once you have the starter kit.
SET UP APP
The main goal of app is to help customer set up Logi POP and management of 3 preset commands associated with
each button. More like 'set and forget' approach.
